The client was looking for a modern control system and a reliable instrumentation and control (I&C) installation for an engine dynamometer. The aim of the project was to implement a comprehensive solution that would ensure precise control of test processes, integration with the higher-level system, and efficient management of the cooling system and exhaust gas extraction ventilation installation.

Development of an instrumentation and control (I&C) system design tailored to engine testing requirements,

Prefabrication and supply of a PLC control cabinet based on the Siemens S7-300 controller,

PLC programming and implementation of HMI visualization on a Siemens MP 377 19” panel,

Integration with the supervisory system, ensuring full control and monitoring of the dynamometer operation,

Execution of an exhaust gas extraction ventilation system, critical for testing process safety,

Implementation of a cooling system and chilled water installation to optimize dynamometer operating conditions,

Preparation of as-built documentation in compliance with applicable standards.
